Congratulations to Serena & Farshid on their stunning celebration with elegance in every detail. Farshid & Serena had a clear idea of what they wanted for their wedding; Elegance, Sophistication, and an excellent meal. The Ceremony was hosted at the brides grandparents home located in Rockville, Maryland. Meanwhile, Reception was hosted at the stunning waterfront Fiola Mare in Georgetown.
The aesthetic of this wedding was dreamy and chic with pink blush accents in every setting. Florals were lush and dreamy complimenting each venue. Serena's Russian heritage was an accent in all of the detail shots from beautiful family heirlooms to even the florals selected. Even Serena's Christian Louboutins had the details of their special day on them. Serena's gown was specially selected from Kleinfeld's in New York and embodied the elegance of her day. Her bouquet was filled with lush ranunculus and blooming pink peonies that really gave the elevated look Serena wanted.
Serena and Farshid's ceremony was in the lush garden of the family home. We created a beautiful dreamy arch filled with lilac and blush tones that blended with the natural beauty of the garden. The ceremony had a beautiful harpist lulling guests with elegance and chimes of soft music in the garden. Speeches were read by the Maid of Honor while the officiant gave words of love and support to the new married couple.
Cocktail Hour was hosted by the pool with a lounge set from Something Vintage in pink and ivory tones. Pink was in every accent even to the couple glasses. Macaroons and quiches were the main highlight for this gorgeous cocktail hour. Guests were then transferred to the beautiful Fiola Mare for a sophisticated water front ceremony site.
Fiola Mare was a beautiful place for Serena & Farshid's elegant waterfront dinner. There was a band situated in the corner so that all guests could enjoy music on the open air reception space. Pink centerpieces were scattered throughout the reception space. Each centerpiece had lush David Austen Roses to truly elevate the look of these beautiful florals.
Dinner was a beautiful plated affair with a sophisticated meal. Dessert was even better. A Marie Antionette cake was brought over from Laudree. Serena & Farshid had a stunning candlelight dinner and we were so glad that we got to create this beautiful day for them.
